Just before schools, universities, and summer holidays come to a close, at ZANAE we remain committed to our values of extroversion and education, sharing our expertise, experience, and passion for quality with the bright minds of the new generation.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming:

  • Professor Angelos Lamprousis, PhD, along with guests from the AFS Intercultural Programs
  • Professor Anestis Anastasios, Coordinator of Tourism & Hospitality at the American College of Thessaloniki, as part of the “Young Business Creators – Anatolia Camp” program
  • Students from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)

During their visits, we discussed entrepreneurship through the lens of creativity, as well as topics related to production, food safety, and quality.

For us at ZANAE, it is both an honor and a responsibility to open our doors to young people, building the future together on solid values, as we have done for 95 years.

Honorary distinction at the 50th anniversary general assembly of SEVE

On July 3rd, the 50th anniversary regular general assembly of SEVE (Greek Exporters Association), the largest extroversion-focused organization in Greece dedicated exclusively to international business was held.

During this commemorative event, ZANAE was honored with a special award as the oldest active member of the Association, in recognition of our longstanding and meaningful contribution to SEVE and the export sector.

This year’s general assembly held special significance, marking 50 years since SEVE’s founding, half a century of continuous support for strengthening the global presence of Greek businesses.

ZANAE proudly completed its participation in the Summer Fancy Food Show 2025, held at the Javits Center in New York City.

ZANAE showcased a curated selection of products to food industry professionals, distributors, and visitors from around the world — including ready-to-eat Greek meals, traditional olives, vegetables, and sauces inspired by the rich heritage of Greek cuisine.

Visitor turnout was impressive, and interest in our products was remarkably high, confirming the growing international demand for authentic Greek foods. Guests had the opportunity to taste signature flavors such as vine leaves stuffed with rice (dolmadakia), giant beans (gigantes), eggplant spread, and our innovative Salsissimo sauce range.

Ongoing practical support for solidarity organizations and vulnerable groups

ZANAE remains firmly committed to the values of social contribution, consistently supporting organizations and institutions dedicated to the relief and empowerment of vulnerable social groups.

During the 2024–2025 period, the company made significant food donations to “Pnoi Elpidas,” “Paidiki Agkalia,” and the Association of Friends of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, addressing essential needs for dozens of families and protected individuals.

At the same time, ZANAE provided financial support to the Social Solidarity and Aid Network, reaffirming its trust in initiatives with real impact.
The company also supported the Hellenic Association of Confectionery Industries and the Friends of Mount Athos Group by sending essential supplies to cover the basic needs of monks.

Participation in a biosafety seminar with international presence

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting knowledge and education, ZANAE proudly supported—for the third consecutive year—the educational seminar titled “Biosafety & Bioterrorism,” organized by the Hellenic Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS), under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).

This high-level educational seminar served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of views on biosafety and food security topics, bringing together cadets from ten European Military Academies across seven countries, along with students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Democritus University of Thrace.

Participants explored the modern challenges affecting food safety, as well as the systematic approaches and procedures implemented by the contemporary food industry to address them. A guided tour of ZANAE’s production and processing facilities offered hands-on insight into the company’s rigorous quality and safety standards.

Participating military academies included:
