• Professor Anestis Anastasios, Coordinator of Tourism & Hospitality at the American College of Thessaloniki, as part of the “Young Business Creators – Anatolia Camp” program
• Students from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH)

During their visits, we discussed entrepreneurship through the lens of creativity, as well as topics related to production, food safety, and quality.

On July 3rd, the 50th anniversary regular general assembly of SEVE (Greek Exporters Association), the largest extroversion-focused organization in Greece dedicated exclusively to international business was held.

During this commemorative event, ZANAE was honored with a special award as the oldest active member of the Association, in recognition of our longstanding and meaningful contribution to SEVE and the export sector.

This year’s general assembly held special significance, marking 50 years since SEVE’s founding, half a century of continuous support for strengthening the global presence of Greek businesses.

For ZANAE, a company with a similarly long-standing history, strong commitment to quality, and a firm belief in extroversion, this distinction and our participation in such an important milestone for Greek entrepreneurship is a great honor.

Represented by the company’s President and CEO, Mr. Nikos Pentzos, ZANAE participated in the balkan forum held in Thessaloniki, under the theme:
“Entrepreneurship – Sustainable Tourism – Challenges, Prospects, and Opportunities in the Balkans.”

In the session titled “Business Models”, Mr. Pentzos, along with other esteemed professionals from the field, highlighted, through practical examples, the opportunities that sustainable tourism creates for the development of entrepreneurship across the broader Balkan region.

Our participation in the Forum was yet another important opportunity for dialogue and knowledge exchange, as well as for showcasing ZANAE’s consistent growth trajectory and core values, which have made the company a benchmark in Greek entrepreneurship for decades.

ZANAE proudly completed its participation in the Summer Fancy Food Show 2025, held at the Javits Center in New York City.

ZANAE showcased a curated selection of products to food industry professionals, distributors, and visitors from around the world — including ready-to-eat Greek meals, traditional olives, vegetables, and sauces inspired by the rich heritage of Greek cuisine.

Visitor turnout was impressive, and interest in our products was remarkably high, confirming the growing international demand for authentic Greek foods. Guests had the opportunity to taste signature flavors such as vine leaves stuffed with rice (dolmadakia), giant beans (gigantes), eggplant spread, and our innovative Salsissimo sauce range.

Our participation in the exhibition is part of ZANAE’s strategic efforts to strengthen its global presence and promote the genuine taste of Greece to international markets.

ZANAE participated dynamically in the PLMA 2025 exhibition in Amsterdam, reaffirming its commitment to continuous innovation and extroversion in the food industry.

With great pride, the company showcased its latest creation at the New Product Expo – Idea Supermarket:

Grilled Olives with Lemon Peel & Pink Pepper, a refined flavor combination that blends the authenticity of the Mediterranean with a modern gourmet approach.

We welcomed visitors who had the opportunity to discover firsthand how we can create added value for their own brand, through high-quality raw materials, flexibility, and innovative flavors.

With enthusiasm and a strong presence, ZANAE kicked off its participation in the international exhibition FoodExpo – Taste of Greece, once again reaffirming its commitment to promoting Greek nutritional quality and Mediterranean flavor.

The ZANAE team welcomed a large number of visitors at Booth B05, Hall 3, offering the opportunity to get to know the company’s products, enjoy tastings, and engage in meaningful discussions with industry professionals.
ZANAE warmly thanks everyone who visited its booth and looks forward to the upcoming days of the exhibition, aiming to further enhance its international outreach, foster new partnerships, and highlight Greek production on a global scale.

ZANAE remains firmly committed to the values of social contribution, consistently supporting organizations and institutions dedicated to the relief and empowerment of vulnerable social groups.

During the 2024–2025 period, the company made significant food donations to “Pnoi Elpidas,” “Paidiki Agkalia,” and the Association of Friends of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki, addressing essential needs for dozens of families and protected individuals.

At the same time, ZANAE provided financial support to the Social Solidarity and Aid Network, reaffirming its trust in initiatives with real impact.
The company also supported the Hellenic Association of Confectionery Industries and the Friends of Mount Athos Group by sending essential supplies to cover the basic needs of monks.

ZANAE is proud to announce its participation in the international Gulfood 2025 exhibition, one of the most important global events in the food and beverage sector.

The exhibition took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where ZANAE welcomed its visitors at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1, Stand S1-120, presenting a carefully selected range of authentic, high-quality Mediterranean products.

Our presence at Gulfood 2025 reinforces our strategic focus on international outreach, the promotion of Greek gastronomy, and the development of new partnerships on a global level.

The company supported the “27th Acritic Circle” and the Carnival Fiesta of the 2nd Panorama Primary School, actively contributing to the preservation of local cultural life and the strengthening of the school community.

ZANAE’s support was particularly significant for the student Formula Student team, which competed with the electric single-seater “Arete” in three international competitions, earning high distinctions and dynamically representing Greece with innovation and excellence.

Demonstrating its commitment to promoting knowledge and education, ZANAE proudly supported—for the third consecutive year—the educational seminar titled “Biosafety & Bioterrorism,” organized by the Hellenic Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS), under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).

This high-level educational seminar served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of views on biosafety and food security topics, bringing together cadets from ten European Military Academies across seven countries, along with students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Democritus University of Thrace.

Participants explored the modern challenges affecting food safety, as well as the systematic approaches and procedures implemented by the contemporary food industry to address them. A guided tour of ZANAE’s production and processing facilities offered hands-on insight into the company’s rigorous quality and safety standards.

ZANAE participated in the international PLMA (Private Label Manufacturers Association) exhibition held in Chicago, one of the most important global events for the private label industry.

During the PLMA 2024 international exhibition at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, ZANAE had the pleasure of presenting two distinguished products at the New Product Expo, located in the main hall of the convention center:

Visitors had the opportunity to experience firsthand ZANAE’s beloved Greek products — the result of authentic recipes, carefully selected raw materials, and the continuous dedication of our team. The visit of third-year students from the Food Science and Technology Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, accompanied by their professor, Mr. I. Mourtzinou, to the facilities of ZANAE, provided a valuable opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with food production processes and the technological innovations adopted in the industry.

ZANAE, always sensitive to the needs of our fellow humans, recently participated in two humanitarian aid missions to Madagascar in collaboration with the Association of Private Pediatricians of Northern Greece.

The company sent over 3,500 food portions, with the valuable support of the Orthodox Brotherhood of External Mission. ZANAE’s involvement in this initiative is part of the broader framework of corporate social responsibility that the company has prioritized.
