Demonstrating its commitment to promoting knowledge and education, ZANAE proudly supported—for the third consecutive year—the educational seminar titled “Biosafety & Bioterrorism,” organized by the Hellenic Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS), under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC).

This high-level educational seminar served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of views on biosafety and food security topics, bringing together cadets from ten European Military Academies across seven countries, along with students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Democritus University of Thrace.
Participants explored the modern challenges affecting food safety, as well as the systematic approaches and procedures implemented by the contemporary food industry to address them. A guided tour of ZANAE’s production and processing facilities offered hands-on insight into the company’s rigorous quality and safety standards.
Participating military academies included:
- Hellenic Military School of Corps Officers (SSAS) – Greece
- Hellenic Military Nursing Academy (SAN) – Greece
- Italian Air Force Academy – Italy
- Italian Naval Academy – Italy
- Ferdinand I Military Technical Academy – Romania
- Carol I National Defence University – Romania
- Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy – Bulgaria
- Military University of Technology – Poland
- Royal Military Academy – Belgium
- Nicolae Bălcescu Land Forces Academy – Romania
Representatives from ZANAE, including Mr. Apostolos Stoikos and Ms. Konstantina Xera, as well as guest professor Mr. Theodoros Kallitsis, contributed valuable insights and specialized knowledge that enriched the seminar.
ZANAE remains committed to supporting such educational initiatives for the benefit of both the community and broader society, fostering professional development and cooperation in matters of safety and defense.
