Peas with Salsissimo Napoletana & Pork

What you will need (for 3 people):

  • 1 Salsissimo Napoletana
  • 1kg pork, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 2 carrots, cut into chunks
  • 500g peas
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Let’s cook:

  1. In a pot, add olive oil and brown the pork on all sides.
  2. Add the onion and potatoes, letting them cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add water and let the pork simmer for about 45 minutes.
  4. Then add the peas, carrots, Salsissimo Napoletana and let the dish simmer until both the pork and peas are well softened.
  5. If needed, add a little more water.
  6. Towards the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.
