Rustic Pasta with ZANAE Tomato Paste

What you will need (for 2 people):
- 1 pack of ZANAE tomato paste 200g
- 250g spaghetti
- 2 fresh onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 green pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 25g ouzo
- 100g olives
- 50g capers
- Thyme
- Oregano
- 100g feta cheese
Let’s cook:
- In a pot of boiling water, add salt and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
- Heat a frying pan and add a little olive oil.
- Chop the fresh onions and garlic into thick slices and sauté until they get a nice color.
- Add the bell peppers, chopped into large pieces and stir.
- Once the peppers soften a bit, deglaze with ouzo.
- Add the ZANAE tomato paste, olives, capers, and let the mixture cook in the pan for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it hot to the frying pan, mixing well and adding oregano and thyme.
- Stir and serve. Grate feta cheese over the pasta. Add more herbs, pepper and salt as desired.
